Initially my art focused on personal myth, longing, and
childhood lost. We all share a sense of individual
narrative that is beyond words, but exists as a series of
collected images and moments in time. When i was a small
child i spent many summers on my grandmothers farm.
Exploring abandoned places on that 40 acres and the land
surrounding. These were my secret places and I found that
working with video allows me to explore memory in an almost
architectural way. I am making a window into reaccuring
dreams and secret past places. My goal is to connect again
with the emotional attachment of recycled forms and and
forgotten lived in spaces.
